Cast Shoe

Ankle joint is formed by the bones of the leg and the foot; the tibia, fibula and talus. The distal prominence aspect of the leg bones is called the medial and lateral malleolus. The ankle joint is supported by the strong ligament in medial and lateral and also key muscles that are surrounding the ankle joint. However this joint is subjected to injuries during severe activities such as high impact strains or sprain and fractures. Management of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions requires the use of a cast. Paksaman cast shoe replaces the functions of the normal shoe when patient is on plaster cast of the foot. Prevents excessive wear & tear of the cast and reduces impact on the injured foot. It also helps to promote healing and early ambulation.
